How to connect to the Internet from the notebook computers
Please set the notebook computers like the right table.
Please read the manual of the computers about details.
NAPS-02 broadcasts ESS-ID (ID of wireless LAN).The computers can
automatically receive ESS-ID.
An initial ESS-ID value of NAPS-02 is COOLSPOT.

When the computers enter the wireless LAN area, it receives
ESS-ID from NAPS-02.
After a while, IP address is distributed from NAPS-02 (*1).
(example: 192.168.0.101/24)
Now, you can connect to the Internet anytime.
[NOTE: Only for dial up access via NAPS-02]
When the computers start tying to the Internet only first time, NAPS-02
dials up automatically. After dial-up is completed, it comes to be able
to connect to the Internet anytime (*2).
When "no connect time" exceeds specified time (Initialization
is 60 minutes), dial-up is released. Next, the NAPS-02 dials again when
"connect" demand comes.
(*1) You can confirm your computer's
IP address with the "ipconfig" command (for Windows), "winipcfg"
application (for Windows 95/98/ME), or "TCP/IP" control panel
(for Macintosh). Please read the manual of each personal computer about
details.
(*2) Only for rental service, even if which
homepage is inspected, the computers might be induced to the URL which
has been set beforehand by the owner of COOLSPOT only at first time. It
is the URL inducement function of NAPS-02. It is not a breakdown.
