We release a firmware of NAPS-02, Release 1.0-209. The owners
after FW 1.0-176 are available to upgrade firmware via this maintenance
web interface.

We added the correspondence PC cards list of NAPS-02 (a wireless
router for COOLSPOT) as follows,
- au W01K... Cdma 1X WIN, 400-600kbps connection, (by FW1.0-207b
of NAPS-02)
We release a firmware of NAPS-02, Beta Release 1.0-207b. The
owners after FW 1.0-176 are available to upgrade firmware via
this maintenance web interface. Please use it with care because
this is beta-version.
[New feature]
- Improved reliability of auto-disconnect and auto-re-connect
using Rapira card(C315SK) by AU with NAPS-02.
- Applied with W01K card.
(As this is a beta version, for W01K card, only Wireless LAN
client can feel a speed of 400kbps to 600kbps, whereas Wired-LAN
client cannot feel lower speed. FYI, in our comparison, we measured
700kbps on W01K-WindowsPC direct connection, and 600kbps on
W01K-NAPS02-WindowsPC connection, so that we released this beta-firmware.)
- Initial Configuration for W01K is added.
- Removed this Initial configuration file.
- DDI Pocket MC-P300
(Even if this initialization file is deleted, this card
can be used by being set by the customer yourself according
to "Method of adding a new card" of the manual. )

About the questionnaire function
of the COOLSPOT service
The questionnaire function is built into URL page inducement
function installed in NAPS-02. This function is for the rental
service user. We are introducing this function as a sample screen
shot for the user who bought an only NAPS-02 router, so this
function is not a support object except the rental service user.
However, we will correspond as possible we can, when you inquire
of this function or demand of some changes of this screen.
About the connection of the Rapira
card by AU (KDDI).
The initialization of the Rapira card of AU registered in NAPS-02
is for 64kbps packet transmission (It is necessary to contract
"High-speed packet transmission" option beforehand
between you and AU). When you use the Rapira card only by the
master agreement with AU (without "High-speed packet transmission"
option) , lease change the telephone number from "##5"
to "##4" in a dial-up setting of the web screen for
the management of NAPS-02. Though the speed becomes 14.4kbps,
but the communication becomes possible without "High-spped
packet transmission" option.

- DDI Pocket AH-H403C... PHS, 128kbps connection
( In FW1.0-202, initialization information on NAPS-02 has
been filled. Card information on AH-H403C can be registered
by deleting card information for which the customer is not
used, or please upgrade firmware FW1.0-203 or later. )

COOLSPOT is used as an access point for the hot spot in the train
by "Net train" of a Yamagata railway externals. This
depends on the power everywhere in local of "Nagai-son"
cram school externals and so on.
We release a firmware of NAPS-02, Release 1.0-198-2. The owners
after FW 1.0-176 are available to upgrade firmware via this maintenance
web interface.
[New feature] Initialization was put again because FW1.0-198
by which we were not putting the initialization of "@FreeD"
had been released. As for FW1.0-198, the following have been updated
compared with the FW1.0-196 edition.
- Initial Configuration for AH-N401C and P-in Free 1S was added.

We stopped the download service of FW1.0-198. Please use FW1.0-196
or FW1.0-202 instead of FW1.0-198.
Because we have uploaded a wrong firmware which does not contain
an initial setting of P-in Free 1S. We are sorry for your inconvenience.
(P-in Free 1S can be used for the standard setting since the
FW1.0-176 edition.The procedure of "Method of adding a new
card" is done by the customer oneself, and it is possible
to use it without trouble. )
The difference between FW1.0-196 and FW1.0-202 is presence of
the remote access server function, and the presence of initialization
for AH-N401C and P-in Free 1S.
We changed the composition of the website.
...Though, this site can be comfortably inspected from COOLSPOT
of the PHS connection the customer. We hold fast to the concept
like light contents and page simple composition. A left menu
was deleted as printed easily. Moreover, some contents were
added. An English version is one by one updated though is late
the update. We are sorry that our English pages are delayed
to be renew. Please use some web-based translate service such
as Altavista if you
want to read Japanese contents.

- The simple remote access server (RAS) function was added.
The correspondence card for RAS is as follows. (This other communication
cards cannot correspond by limiting the card. )
- DDI Pocket MC-P300...32kbps digital/analog line arrival.
- NTT DoCoMo FOMA P2401...64kbps digital line arrival.
- Analog modems which are correspondence cards of NAPS-02.
- Other features are same as FW1.0-198.

Basic feature is same as 1.0-196.Initial settings of AH-N401C and P-in Free 1S are added.

Our NAPS-02 was adopted as a platform of the P2P experiment with
Mitaka city by Skyley Networks and Uchida Yoko. (This is not release
1.0 for general but release 1.5 of the business use. Please inquire
release 1.5 in detail. )
